Progetto e allestimento permanente Palazzo Ricchieri, Museo Civico d’Arte
La pianta stretta e lunga del salone centrale del Museo Civico presentava un allestimento frutto di numerose stratificazioni successive, che toglievano leggibilità alle opere.
Ciò ha suggerito un lavoro di allestimento basato sulla leggerezza e sottrazione: un basamento sottile e sospeso raccoglie tutti gli impianti di condizionamento e di sicurezza e determina lo spazio delle opere, mentre lo sfondo, sollevandosi e abbassandosi, ne segue le dimensioni.
L’intonacatura a grana finissima di tonalità neutra fa emergere le opere nella loro complessità materica e cromatica, dando loro il giusto ruolo di protagoniste.
The former display in the hall of the Civic Museum was the product of successive layers which prevented a correct vision of the artworks.
Therefore, the project works with lightness and subtraction: a thin and suspended base identifies the space for the collection, while the background follows their dimensions, rising and lowering as needed.
The very fine-grained plastering in light hue of the new display machine brings out the works of art in their material and chromatic complexity, allowing them to rise as leads of the action.
