Rosario
Ogni grano di rosario diviene, per la durata della preghiera, un’occasione per concentrarsi nel rito o per distrarsi in un gioco tattile. Da qui l’idea: il grano è la forma che si ottiene stringendo una sfera morbida tra pollice e indice, una deformazione ergonomica che produce una forma che riconosciamo, che si adatta alle dita e che si offre alla loro continua esplorazione. Al centro del grano sorge in rilievo una croce spigolosa che, se stretta con forza, si imprime sulla pelle di chi sta pregando.
Each rosary bead becomes, during a prayer, an opportunity to focus on the ritual or to distract yourself in a tactile game. Hence the idea: the grain is the form that is obtained by squeezing a soft ball between thumb and forefinger, starting from an ergonomic deformation we design this well-knowing form: it fits into the fingers and offers itself to a no-stop exploration. At the center of the grain there is a rough-edge cross and pressing it strongly the devotee could feel it in his skin.
