L’area scolastica oggetto del concorso è un luogo attualmente alquanto indeterminato, dove spazi poco definiti convivono insieme e le pertinenze delle varie funzioni non sono chiare. L’obiettivo principale della proposta è dare ordine alle funzioni presenti e future mantenendo un carattere di informalità: strutturare il Campus scolastico senza irrigidirlo, ma mantenendolo aperto agli usi spontanei, così da rafforzare la sua vocazione di centro attivo e vitale del paese. Il masterplan è stato pensato come una sequenza di interventi distribuiti in cinque fasi di tre anni ciascuna, in accordo alla programmazione triennale del comune.
The existing area of the competition is a rather indeterminate place, where undefined spaces coexist together and the pertinences of the various functions are not clear. The aim of the proposal is to rearrange present and future functions while maintaining an informal character: structuring the school campus without stiffening it, but keeping it open to spontaneous uses, so as to strengthen its vocation as an active and vital center of the town. The masterplan is organized as a sequence of interventions distributed in five phases of three years each, according with the three-year planning of the municipality.
